Poppy VERY VERY NICE A Hardy Well Done she looks like a millian bucks. I wish that kit was still available I would love to take a crack at one of those I had the same Sterling kit like you have here.Covered in Sigs ligh silk airbrushed with Whit and Red trim. to this day i dont knwo what ever happened to it. Not certain if got stoloen or lost durring my moves. any way you done a wonderful job very award winning indeed. Boats |

DD, the prop is 6", plane has a 24" wingspan, 1/16 scale. Basically the same as this one. |

I don't like carving props. I used a Master Airscrew plastic 6" prop and rounded the tips. A base coat of yellow ochre was applied, and using a fine tipped brush and toffee brown I painted the lamination's. Brass paint for the leading edge plates, a chrome washer and aluminum tubing for the boss and swash plate, and fine tipped pen for the bolts and rivets. Cad red completed the tips. |
