Once again I return to my Nieuport build... this will be attempt number 3 to finish this model. This photo is of a "Udet Flamingo" build that I recently finished. It is an R/C model. |

Great photography Reuben. It was cloudy down here so I missed the whole thing. |

Thanks I have a better shot that includes the full moon from the start, I should really upload that one.
It was so cold down here I had to keep taking the camera inside between photographs. |

Good work Reuben. I had great intensions of getting some shots myself, but I'm afraid that after watching a whole week of World Cup Soccer during the early hours, my bed seemed a better prospect. Shame though as Hawke's Bay had no cloud. |

One from the Kiwi's.... I was hoping to get the full eclipse cycle but due to the cold and cloud cover I gave up after 3 shots. |

Just a note,. The silver Coverlite is the hardest to use with the least amount of shrinkage. Might br the aluminum pigment. The calors are much more forgiving. |

Coverite is a bit of a pain to apply but gives a great tough finish. It is the same material as Litespan. Use the odor free Balsaloc instead of Balsarite to glue it down. Both stick really well. Coverlite does not shrink much and shrinks more with the grain than cross grain. You need to get the material tight before you shrink it and it needs to be tighter cross grain. |

Hmmmmm I should really pay attention before taking photo's, the vertical stabiliser is on the wrong way round..... |

Looking good Reuben, will no doubt be another quality build. Sorry I cant offer any tips on coverlite - never used it! Cheers for now. |
