Thanks chaps. Haha, nice one David! You are right though. James, I wish I had the time to do ANY modelling at all at the moment. The last time I was able to was a couple of months ago when I built a Tiger tank, pics here http://chrissmodels.webs.com/apps/photos/ |

Well deserved! Fame is fleeting so enjoy it while you can, knowing someday you'll be replaced by some younger Fokker. |

Excellent. And, this is a good sign that maybe you're going to start making balsa models again! |

Hey, this photo has just made it into the latest edition of the Guillows catalogue - fame at last! :-) |

Hey Chris, just looking at your Dr.1 again, it inspires me every time. I need to add some off these details to mine, and was also thinking of putting the wires that go between the cabane and undercarriage struts. |

It came out OK, but I screwed up with the decals. I didn't seal the tissue well enough, and the decals didn't go on smoothly. :( |

I haven't, it was display only. I just wanted to build it. It's at my parents place too, 3000 miles a way. |

Have you flown it yet, or is it for display like mine? |

Sounds light to me. I'll see if I can get my Nieuport weighed at some point, I'll update here when I get the numbers. |

I've just weighed it (on the wife's kitchen scales!) and it comes in at 70g. Is that light or heavy for this type of model?! |

Sounds good. I see you have the rubber motor in there, so it's all ready to go. What was the all up weight in the end? I think I'd like to try this one. |

Looks great! I love the covering job |

I have it on good authority that it'll probably be very tricky to get flying, so it's for display only. |

Everything looks very straight and true, great job. Are you going to be flying this? |
