The foam pitting is fairly obvious in this photo as well. |

Because this is foam, the leading and trailing edges are thick. Photos of the real F-16 look like you could shave with those wings. Sanding process started. |

For the camera I found this PVC fitting from the hardware store. I'm not sure what it is used for, but was almost perfect for my needs. |

This tank is a WW2 vet. The "splash" on the transmission cover was caused by a German anti-tank shell. It didn't penetrate, but left its mark. The advantage of the Jumbo was that the armor was double that of a typical Sherman. That shell would have knocked this tank out, for a while anyways. |

Last weekend was a military vehicle show. I was very excited to see this M4 Sherman "Jumbo". |

James, would you please change the heading for this and the next photo to the ACE Sherman head? I promise to be more careful in the future. Thanks. |

The turret number is hand painted. The stars are from an old plastic kit. |

Thanks, Deckape. The kit is a civilian Piper Cub that was modified to look like a military version, which consisted mainly of enlarging the glass area. |

I think it's a Lycoming R-680, unless it's a Travel Air 4000, then it probly is a Whirlwind. |

This should actually be under the Scratch built Panther label. Thanks for setting that up James. |

John O's plane reminds me of my neon GeeBee. It doesn't fly, but it lights up the room real nice. |

This looks very familiar! It was about 10 years after this Life cover that I started. It seemed logical, I always had a pocket knife and was whittling on something as long as I can remember. I made my own bows and arrows and many slingshots, as well. |

With Creosotewind's assistance I'll see what I can do. All the models are in 1/72 scale and painted flat black. They may not photograph well. |
