I wouldn't say that at all Joey. From what I can tell, this is at least as good as anything else I've seen on here. Way better than anything I've done anyway. You should be very proud of yourself. |

Not only is this is a beautiful model, but I find it very helpful to see how you solved some of the problems in building it. I intend to build one myself, an electric powered free-flight, for the "G" Challenge in 2008. I did a little research on the insignia in the kit and found that the the aircraft would have belonged to the GruppenKommodore of II/JG52 although I haven't been able to find out who he was during the Battle of Britain. From all the references I can find your colors should be properly representative for the period. Great job! |

I agree, a superb build, the details the panel lines the paint, all showcase your skill and persistence to see this one to the end. Beautiful job Moos. |

This is a beautiful model. Those tires look like rubber. The color and camo is unique and well done. Panel lines give it a realistic appearance. KudoesX3!!! |

Not yet up toall the big guy's standards, but a few panel lines were attempted as a lesson in detailing. |

Steve, no more WWI kits planned. These WWI kits I bought in the early seventies. The oldest is the SE5A. This has the paperwork for the Series 100's in it. Planes like the D-8, D-7, Spad and Nieuport 28; way before WWII series 800 planes or 2000 series were created. Only one ever started was the Nieuport 11, framed with moveable surfaces but never sanded or covered. Might just have to finish this first before starting another. All but two have shrink removed just to read the plans and instructions. |

It looks like you'll be entertaining us for a long time to come. I see you got the DH-4, do you have plans to get any of the other WWI kits? |
