I love it even more when, after watching intently for a while, he reaches out a paw and tries to help. This is usually at the most inconvenient moment possible. Cats! You've got to love them. |

It's going to be an electric free-flight, and will not be carrying as much hardware, or as large a battery, so I want to keep it somewhat lighter than I would if it were R/C. Once the stringers and covering are on there is still a lot of beef in this structure. There will also be some strategically placed sheet fill and plywood bits. |

This is a really funny photo! Like the cat is actually trying to figure out how to build the stabilizer or whatever ... Love it. |

How much weight did you save by drilling the holes in the bulkhead? Are you planing to fly it rubber powered? When converting one of the Guillow Kits to electric / RC, I would rather reinforce the bulkheads ... |

Finally had some time to start on the assembly of the fuselage. The opossums in the garage seemed to enjoy watching me work. |

Now that the box is done I can get to work on the big parts of the Bf-109 |

Opussum proof storage box for Bf-109 components in garage under construction. The box I had could not hold a one piece wing with over an 18 inch span. This will hold one piece wings to 30 inches. Opossum get in garage through cat flap. Can't close it |

Drilling holes with steady hands...OK I didn't really drill it this way. I made a small centering block (U-block) that went over the spar. |

Believe it or not, that cat is 17 years old. I once, jokingly, listed her as a business associate, Arabella LeChat, who was listening on a teleconference I was participating in. Now that cat gets trade magazine subscriptions and pre-approved credit card applications for higher limits than I do. As far as how many we have, that's classified. |

That's one cute little kitty! How many do you have? |

Pulling winkles out. Humidity was so low that I could cut off excess with sandpaper after only a couple of minutes. |
