Yeah, nice vid! I need to find somewhere in the UK to pick one of these up from. |

Nice plane, nice flight. I like the Turbo Porter a lot because it is easy to build (rectangular wing shape, box fuselage). Mine is a little smaller and not covered. I built from a plan designed by W.C. Hannan in 1969. |

Somewhat thrashed and many times rebuilt Porter prototype that I have been flying just for fun lately. Couldn't fly in recent High-Winged Cabin Sport competition because of 25 inch span limit. Span of Porter is 26 inches. Wasn't flying well that day anyway. |

Took time off of a recovering job on one of my Porter prototupes, last week, to do a Valentine card for my wife. |

I was pleasantly surprised today to meet hjlittman at the AMA Expo in Ontario California and see many of his beautifully crafted aircraft he had on display including his Pilatus Porter as well as the Beaver he's doing for Guillows. They're even nicer in the hand. Thanks Mr. Littman for sharing. Phil |

They are in the kit proofing stage now, a little delayed, but they should be out before the end of the year. |

Howard, are they telling you anything about when I can buy these kits? You know, it's all about me, don't you? *G* |

Nice display of some championship modeling! |

Is this a plan that you made yourself during the process, or is this the Guillow's plan as might come with the kit, and will there be templature included as is traditional with Guillow's kits? |

I believe the price is established by the merchant selling the kit, not Guillows. |

I don't know how the transition will be handled. I'll ask. |

Which means that the die cut kits on the shelf will be discounted? |
hjlittman, Comment for image # 20036 | 20 Jan 11 13:18 |
A little update on the laser cutting. Laser cut 400 series kits will start shipping to distributors before the end of January! I don't know how long it will take them to get on store shelves, but look for stickers on the boxes that say "New Laser Cut". The 300 series line will be next. |

Personally, I'd love to have the Airacobra kit with or without the laser cut. |

What a great looking airplane...my kudos to Guillows and doing a Pilatus design. A little outside their typical range, but what a great choice!
Even though I have two in the pile, here's to bringing back the P-39 Airacobra as a laser kit. Nobody else has one, so why not? |
