Sweet! If Adolf had a supply of these, German, would be the language of the land, rather than Mexican!

Yes, I use a Badger 150 with a fine tip, and Tamiya paint. The Me 262 paint scheme is an example of why I especially like building and painting Axis aircraft.

The hardest part was lining up and gluing the wings to the fuselage.

Gallands 1/24th scale Me 262A-1a from Shorty's plans.

I found a 1/24th sheet with the Mickey Mouse and other JG emblems on it by Mike Grant Design. I've tried to get in touch with him to see if I can purchae the shee. Does anyone know of him or have done business with him?

After a couple of tries I finally got a good canopy. Problems were leaving it under the heat too long or using the wrong kind of plastic, All pilot errors.

I'm sure you are right about the clouding, and I'm also having problems with the the sides being to thin. I think I'm allowing the plastic getting too hot. I'm glad the, Heinkel came out perfect the first time so I know it can be done. I'm just going to keep experimenting until I get it right, meanwhile the candy is very enjoyable.

The clouding may be from the type of plastic you are using. I have had similar problems. The clear plastic for some candy boxes and toys works well. Check out Mike Stuart's free-flight webisite. He is in the UK,try a google search. He explains canopy making.

Nice looking build so far, Jerry. I always thought the 262 looked like a shark. It must have been quite an eye opener for the allied pilots when they first encountered them in the air.
