Here is a stunning video clip at youtube about a model airport in scale H0 in Hamburg:

I have been to this place about five years ago, at this time that hadn't completed the airport yet. Watch out for the planes in the background taking
off. |

Two sets of inner and outer wings for the Riser 100. Outer wings now need to be joined with the inner wings, then they will be covered. This sure is a big soarer! |

That is a great story! |

I like that story :-) -- & it has to be nice to have your aircraft(s) back, even in this rough condition!!! definitely looks salvageable... |

Anyway, I will continue with the Riser 100 now. Fellow from the club told me it took him three days to complete .... Sigh! |

The plane took a rough tree landing, the right outer wing is gone, have to rebuild it. Tail is torn off but will be glued in place. All R/C equipment and electric equipment seems to be o.k. |

Meanwhile, my electric glider found it's way back home. Very funny story. At 7 a.m. today in the morning, I went out to search a large field of canola (?) for my plane. Searching a model plane with translucent yellow wings in a yellow field is no fun. I found a plane - but it wasn't mine. I returned it to our little hut in the middle of the field. In the afternoon I got a phone call - the very owner of the plane I had found had gone out to search for himself - and had found my plane. |

I sympathise with you on this. I felt the same way when I lost my Tyro after taking my eyes off it for a few seconds... Still, a good excuse to build a new one! Good luck with this one. |

Today, I lost my beloved electric soar plane Return 2000, which I have flewn for almost four years. Although it was not a real sexy model plane, it flew well and had very forgiving characteristics. After a break of more than 20 years, I learnt to fly with it again in 2008. Today, in good soaring conditions, I took my eyes of it only for a moment - and it was gone. Hope it does not hit anyone - our flying side is surrounded by some densely populated areas. Now I have to give the plastics a break and finish the Riser 100. Although I still have the box and the plans for the Return 2000, I will probably not rebuilt it - its hard to get the old equipment it was designed for. |

Fin and elevators completed. I rebuilt both elevators. Weight is now 60 grams. |

There obviously from different sheets - the left one is much darker. So it put them on the letter scale. |

It must be a density issue as it, obviously, not a thickness issue. |

Very cool! I built one very similar a long time ago and it was a LOT of fun. It had an .049 engine pod above the wing and an old 2 channel R/C unit. You'll have a blast with it :-) |

Not this is funny: starboard elevetor is 9 grms, port elevator is 23 grams. Hm. |

Nice building instructions. |

Next: A standard sail plane. This is a huge box! I'll try to fly it electric. |
