| caught this masterpiece down in the random pictures section today. Just beautiful! I had a 1/144th scale Bachmann model of this plane I got on a field trip to the Smithsonian when I was little. It was the most perfect thing I owned at the time-- and the colors just seemed an impossibility for a fighting aircraft. (thx poppy!) |

| Thanks friends. The builds on this site continue to be truly amazing and I enjoy each and every one. As for mine, I have to rest a while. Weather changes have given my arthritic hands a fit. |

| This has always been one of my favorite planes. I remember walking the mile home from the LHS, uphill and in the rain, with a DVII kit under my coat when I was 13 or so. I love the colors on this and as usual, the construction is flawless so it's a real pleasure to see. |
