This, on the other hand, was a really fun build but it's time to move on to something else. |

This was a really hard build for me due to it's size.. |

Thanks, I like the blue and white combo. I'm going to outline the markings in white. I think they'll show up better. |

Yes, it is the Taylorcraft. Looked like a nice kit when I bid on it. I got it at a good price but the combination of small pieces and brittle balsa made it a real pain. |

If the other half is a Taylorcraft, I have the kit sitting on my shelf. It's sitting for that reason. An alternative is to go to a local print shop and have them enlarge (or shrink) a copy of the plans. I've changed scale of several that way. I can do The printwood on my own printer if it's a good print. |

Good color choice. The D-vii had more color schemes than you can shake a stick at. |

Sterling Stearman PT17 , Peanut scale. Not that fond of peanut scale. I'll finish this and the other half of the Sterling kit but I don't think I'll do any more kits this small. |

Still painting. |

There sure were a lot of different schemes to choose from - or is it "from which to choose"? :) Looking good.

If you need, I learned a couple of new expletives with the P6E. :) |

It's just sitting up there now but it probably will be a bear with all the different struts coming from the fuselage and the wing. |

Propeller and plane look good. Isn't it fun trying to get the top wing on straight?

It looks like you are! |

Trial fit. Propeller came out alright but hope to do better on next one. I'm really having fun with this build. |

Carved missing nose cowl and added grill. Next, my first attempt at a propeller. |

Carved one rib and all stringers out of scrap. Will need to fabricate a few rudder pieces but all easy stuff. All else good to go. |

Starting new category for the D7. This one came without Cowl, keels or decals. Made the keels(A1,A2,& A3) Will probably carve the cowl and the decals are nice and square so I'll paint those on. I'm sure more surprises await me. |
