| That "bloody fiddly work" really paid off. It looks absolutely GREAT!! |

Just the windows left to put on, then need to seal it and balance it. |

Very pleased with how straight I managed to get the band between the two colours |

Finally glueing the wings on. |

| Very nice covering, well done!!! |

The right wing now covered save for one section so I can glue it on to the fuselage. Pretty happy with the result. |

Tissuing the fuselage, again in two colours. Bloody fiddly work, does anyone actually enjoy this part? |

Starting to apply tissue. Tail shows roughly how the two-tone look is going to work |

| Many thanks for the link, that's exactly the sort of step-by-step guide I've been dying to find! |

| Hey PC, that sounds like a good guess to me, but I have only used the "light spray of acrylic drawing fixative" with tissue. However, have you checked out this fellow's site? http://www.ffscale.co.uk/comp1.htm pretty good step by step and he is in UK and using that brand of dope! |
| PencilCricket, Comment for image # 28321 | 11 Jan 13 13:26 |
| So what exactly are the two types of dope for? I read in the Guillow's book that you have to dope the frame to seal the wood before putting the tissue on, would I use the non-shrinking on the frame and the shrinking on the tissue? |

| Thanks! I will check that out. I just picked up several pints of thinner and dope, but they will be replaced at some point. |

| "SIG" makes a product called Nitrate Dope that has "shrinking" properties in the US. |

| The only place I saw this shrinking dope is in the UK. Is this sold in the states? |

| There is a white glue for canopies that works way better than anything else. It is called "Formula 100" or something like that. I use it to attach all plastic parts to anything! I would suggest that for simplicity and the fact that it does dry clear. The CA can leave you with a CA fog on the plastic I found out thru experience, bad lessons are not forgotten. |
