The tab has thin wire inside, so I can adjust. I cut it down after today, I barely need it. |

Hi mlriley - nice repair - those repairs really don't take too long to fix. Is that trim tab on the right wing adjustable? How do you attach it? I went flying today too - only about 20 ten second flights - still trying to figure out trimming ... |

With 200 winds the trim tab wasn't really needed, although it does help glide when the power runs out. |

Flew just OK, but could fly better. I cut down the trim tab afterward. |

The end result. You really don't notice. |

Didn't take long to repair, about 90 minutes total. |

Broke in 3 places, I repaired 2 of them. The other is more of a crack that should be fine. |

Flew a bit today, crashed and broke a wing. |

I definitely learn more every model. I do like the flying aspect. |

mlriley - this Free Flight business just sucks you in deeper and deeper into this aspect of aero-modeling. So much to learn and know - something about the elemental beauty when they fly off into the blue all on their own, that satisfies the spirit - a very addicting and all consuming obsession ... |

Rainy today, will have to wait to see how well it really flies. I can say it glides OK. The tail is over-scale but doesn't look it. |

Good looking and flies too. What more can you ask for? |

I built in a large twist to the non-torque wing and managed to do too much. Without a trim tab it curves right even under power. |

I just did a few 50-60 wind flights in my yard, hit the sidewalk once but just a small scuff that I fixed. |

Had to add a trim tab, stuck on with a glue stick. Removable. With just a little trim it fles quite straight. |

I like your very colorful camo scheme! That is a sharp looking Dewoitine! Nice pic! |

I may add some more detail to the markings. |

I did glide test it, it does glide. Will try to fly it. |
