With som e modifications the 500 series 190 can be built as any of the radial engine Fw 190s. As you can tell I like this kit except for the canopy it is a great kit, although it is a little under sized for 1/24th scale. |

The Guillows 500 series Fw 190 built as an early 190A-2 and as a later Fw 190F-8. |

Looks like a plastic model - You've spurred me to finish my series 500 FW-190. Great airbrush work. |

I've learned a lot from the two of you and many others on VA, it has really become an enjoyable hobby, and hopefully the models will keep getting better. |

I don't know what is involved with doing a tutorial, unfortunately, after almost two months in the States, the wife and I are headed back to London tomorrow via Ft Lauderdale and a boat to Iceland. It will be several weeks before we are at our flat in Chelsea. Of course we have a mini-computer with us so we will still be in touch to a degree. |

Of course the blown hood canopy was from the Blue Bottle Fw 190D-9 kit, for which I wish to thank them. |

Among the cheapest of the Guillows kits with a little work can be turned into a very nice model. |

Great stuff Jerry. I have also found that applying a thin coat of Future to the underside of the decal just prior to placing helps to eliminate any air bubbles, especially on large decals. Wonderfull product, too good to waste on a floor!! |

Some on asked about applying decals. The following is how I apply decals and the products I use. |
