here is the first wing made of glass, slumping glass is a real art as temp has to be just right. this one took three tries. |

this will give you an idea now mold process works. This mold material is the same as used in life sculpturing. |

at top is wing used to make mold, and at the bottom is the firebrick mold. The firebrick mold then goes in to kiln for slumping. This is technique where glass is heated to the point it becomes flexible, and contours to the mold. |

Thought I would try to combine both my hobbies in to one. I do stained glass art, and I am trying to build Hurricane out of glass. |
