If it's like most Guillow kits, the two hex-shaped pieces are glued together to form the prop hub. The prop blades fit into three sides of the hub. |

the hex shape is the back side of spinner I think. Novice Builder will post a photo of leftover plastic from a Guillows B-17 build, it has the same extra rings |

Is it possibly part of the engine crank case? I was looking at Rhyleo's Hellcat this morning, and we couldn't work out what the ring around the spinner was for. I guess it's just part of the vacuum forming process. |

Thanks. The prop spinner is the right size and shape to connect the balsa wood prop blades to. The hex-shape to the left of it is still a mystery though. |

I think the ring is scrap but the part in the middle is your prop spinner |
