Here is a link to a video of a short flight of this model.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5kIOW5ReTY I don't wind for maximum flights in this particular room because of the giant ventilation fan near the ceiling. |

Other project is occupying more of my time. |

Coming along slowly. Five hours into it. Have almost all crossmembers and formers in the fuselage and the wing and tail surfaces are sanded. |

One of the reasons that I have only been putting the ocassional hour a day into my Arrow build is that I am getting my next No-Cal kit ready for production. |

Begins to look like a plane. |

Working on removable nose plate for better access and thrust line adjustment. |

Guillow's designs have used alignment formers in box fuselages since the 1930s. I think it's a great idea and use them in my own box fuselage designs. |

Don't realize how many pins you use until you line them up. These pins held down one side of fuselage. |

Moved motor peg forward one bay because the motor peg area is rather constricted if built per plan. Others have made fuselage wider in rear. |

Starting on fuselage. |

The way I actually did it. |

Strange instructions for dihedral |

Have to agree with that! |

My mom was the, "Wait until your father gets home!" type, but later experience tells me that if you meet a beautiful woman, and her opening line is "Have you been a bad boy?", RUN! ;) |

I meant had your Mom punished you. |

Really, David? You're not my type. Seriously, I've had to prioritize my time. With producing my kits and new designs, and all the social requirements of staying married it just my way of scheduling it in. Besides, with this one I will know exactly how long it took to build it. |

At the end of the first hour I had the tail feathers and most of the wing rough framed. |

Starting with the tail feathers. I don't like to put pins through the parts, if I can avoid it, so I use some rather long push pins I found at Office Depot, They are not as long as the Czech pins made just for model building, but they work rather well. |

I'm keeping a time on the work bench because I only have an hour a day to work on it. |
