My break was 55+ years and I also feel like I'm reliving my childhood. Funny how we can afford them now at $50-100+ and not so much when they cost $1.99. |

I went through an R/C phase in the 90's which isn't quite like building these models. Close, but not quite. I really feel like I'm reliving my childhood, only now I can afford the models I always wanted to build. My dad was a builder too, and I remember that he had a stash of planes in the hall closet. I used to look at them all the time. Now I'm building my own stash, that has a lot of the same planes! Go figure! |

I'm putting together what I need for converting the DC-3 into a BT-67 (Basler turboprop). I can always use more examples for guides. So I'll say DC-3. BTW, it is a great hobby. My break was about 45 years. |

You and me both! I'm glad I'm picking it back up after about 20 years in hibernation! |

Yes I agree, I'm saving the Catalina for now. I'm working on the B-25 and a scratch build Zero on the side. I also received an Edge 540 as a Christmas gift that didn't make the photo. I love this hobby!!! |

Yah! great selection! I just picked up a 70's vintage Corsair on ebay last week. I don't have any of the others, but I'm very partial to the Catalina. Love to see that one built! |

Looks like it's trying to figure out how to escape. |

My other half suggested that I learn how to count. |

to make you feel that you're not alone - my 3year old great grandson got a hold on the A-26 just before Thanksgiving. Hot too serious, but the left side has no rockets or LG doors. |

That's looking good. |

Starting to take shape. Experimenting with some paint. |

Thanks guys. Don, Kinner Envoy first flow in 1934. Made for the Navy in 1936. I downloaded the plans from Outerzone. Yes, in the right hands she should fly. I installed a rubber motor and will use the prop from the Cessna kit I'm working on. Build is pretty fragile so I'm leery about flying(especially in my hands), but I might try. |

Never seen that one before. Interesting airplane. A flier?

Forward canted windscreen and bumped cowling - and I like your paint scheme too..
Nice work here. |

Very nice that! Not your run-of-the-mill aircraft. |

Envoy almost finished, just lacking prop. Might even fly. Now back to Cessna. |
