I was going for something similar to the image on the box. Not very realistic as far as I've ever seen, but a lot of fun to paint just the same. |

For nevetsw. Here on the plans you can see that the sheet balsa is meant for the tail control surfaces if you plan to make it a control-line build. You would use the cardstock if you plan on making it a display model. Hope this helps. |

The only sheetwood that I recall was for rudders/elevators that the kit plans recommend using for control line flight. |
