You can see in the picture the landing gear fairing is crooked, that is the only damage. |

Guillows Cessna Bird Dog, built with no modifications and flew great. Did take a lot of weight. Almost lost her on the second flight, and she hit a tree. |

The no step is just sitting there, it is there to cover a stress wrinkle. I will replace it with something better. Yes I plan no flying her. She weighs is at 17 grams as shown. |

Nice work; are you going to fly her? |

It's a really nice looking O1-E. I'm sure there must be a special purpose for the oversize NO STEP placard to be placed there. |

Its lacquer, but no where near as heavy as typical lacquer paints. |

That came out really nice! What's the base of that spray? acrylic? lacquer? |

The paint went on great, final weight is 17 grams. Have not decided on the wheels yet, that is why the wire is not bent. Should be a great flyer. |

I will try an old trick, hide the wrinkles with decals. |

Covering still looks great! I am familiar with the stress wrinkles as I have been building several lighter frames lately. |

This is the paint I am going to try. I don't normally use spray paint on flying models since it adds too much weight. I hear this stuff is as light as the old spray Pactra dope. I will see how this goes and let you all know. |

Covered with Guillows tissue and ready for paint. Some stress wrinkles developed since the structure was light. |
