That, (your video) is seriously slick, man. Outstanding. |

I started flight trimming the Skyraider. It has flown into the wall twice now and survived. I still need to make some adjustments. This video shows that I need to reduce the right thrust as the turn gets tighter as the power drops. Also I need more down thrust as it stalls after the initial climb. Man, go out of town for a few days and it takes a day to catch up with the Aerodrome projects! These all look great. |

I added a tiny pilot, carved out of foam and covered with tissue. |

Finished at 17.8g, without rubber. I've added 6 rockets and may more if the flight trimming goes well. |

Good eye recognizing the Beaufighter. It is actually a 40 inch wingspan flying ARF R/C model that I repainted. This is a really nice foam model that has the look of a plastic model. You can get it here: Beaufighter |

Is that a 1/32 scale Beaufighter in background? |

I decided not to spray the chalked tissue on the model with Krylon. I am mainly concerned about adding any more weight, and, not messing anything up. |

Still temporarily assembled, but getting closer to finishing the details. I still need to add the exhaust components of the Wright engine. |

At quite a weight expense for a freeflight model, I added 12 rocket rails and will later add up to 12 rockets to the rails. The rockets will definitly not helped with the flying characteristics, but this is all part of the challenge of a scale flying model. |

I did the panel lines with a sharp pastel pencil and a straight edge. The chalk really sticks to untreated tissue. |
