I like the design of the wing construction. The ribs are split in the middle alowing for a half to be constructed flat on the plan. Then you simply glue the other half of the ribs in place. No shimming or guessing. Given that, I am trying something different for the infill: one 3/32 strip between each seyt of ribs. On this one the bottom is done. As the camber increases it takes shimming which you can see, but it giges just the right surface. I used the 3/32 so there was enough to sand some off. We shall see. |

Got two solid days of modeling in over the long weekend. Attached the bottom wing and filled in the fuse bottom. Painted fuse and applied decals. Attached rudder and bottom elevators. Building up landing gear. Finished, but have not installed the engine cowlings. |
