Waited over 6 weeks for these "special ordered" spoked wheels. Had to make up a new axle shaft to accommodate the 1/32th inside diameter hub size.

I laminated 4, 1/2 inch balsa bolcks for the W tips. I do not trust myself with a knife so I quickly shaped them on a small belt sander. Now I will glue them to the wing, final shaping by hand.

As soon as it's daylight, and warm enough, I'll start covering these outside. There's too much area involved to use dope inside. The frames have all been prepped with two coats of 50/50 white glue/water (more or less) and sanded smooth.
