With the tail cone glued on I'll add the rest of the wood and start on the bottom.

I traced the outline of the tail cone onto 1/16" balsa, sanded it to fit, and glued it inside to allow it to be glued to the back former.

The red pieces were added between the formers BEFORE the side keel was glued on in the first part of construction. It worked, the whole thing is straight.

Not happy with the result, the LG is already torn apart. I will use the wells to build LG in the down position. I was close to success with this but moving LG for a model destined to hang in space is not worht the effort. Chalk this up as a learning ex
