Poppy. This is a fantastic model, I love the colour scheme, and the detailing is superb. However, is it just the angle of this picture, or do the wings look like they are on backwards? :-/ The leading edge of the Texan are swept back, but the trailing edge is almost straight - but that's not how it looks on the big 1/16th model. Maybe it's just the angle of this picture... |

The big one is awesome! To think that it's made of wood ... |

Gee I wonder if it can be "Model of the month" on the Guillows site? Me thinks it is a no brainer. Bigger is better! |

James, indeed they are swept back at the proper angle, but trailing edges are not straight from the attach points, They are angled slightly forward, as shown on the smaller models. |

So it is the angle of this picture. At least we got to see one more picture of it. :) Thanks Poppy! |

BTW James, I have no problem with the ads. You have created such a great venue that whatever it takes to keep it working is fine with me. |

Thanks for the note on the ads, Poppy. I'll probably try some different layouts. I also want to see why we seem to get ads for hotels; they're not really very relevent. I understand why 'Miami Models' adverts come up, but it'd be good to get rid of them too. Where are the ads for balsa supplies, or covering materials?! |

A beautiful bit of craftsmanship. just when i think the bar could not be raised any higher you manage to pull one out the bag! |
