Hallo David, it's a beauty !
The name is Leo, I live in a village in the Netherlands.
You were doubling the stringers of body and wings.
May I ask what the thickness of the stringers on body
and wings is ?
Inspired weekend, Leo

Hi Leo. The stringers are 3/32". I would love to see your country! |

For universal. I will need to see the plans to give you an answer. If you click on the "build thread" at the top left of this image you'll get all the photos I took during construction. Perhaps they will be of some help. The instructions are a bit difficult to comprehend in parts. |

Dave this is my next build. I have a question on that W-1 rib. The kit has 2 W-1 ribs, and the plans show that the wing sections are assembled with only the W-2 rib and somehow it all comes together later. Your build if I am correct uses a double rib on the inboard for the wing assemblies and one more W-1 for the root rib on the body assembly. Did I get that correct? You made 4 extra W-1s? Thanks in advance. Confused in Florida. |

You are correct.:-) Confusion is certainly understandable with this kit! I love West Wings kits but the instructions are not easy to comprehend and are the construction is certainly not the standard Guillows fare. Still, I think it looks much better than theirs. |

The balsa is decent, and you are dead on about those plans. Thanks DD. I appreciate the help. The wife is all healed from her surgery, I am getting stagnant. Take care. |
