Jedi, the lack of a response will likely be because most of the builders here have scratch built the landing gear on their P-40 builds. Yours is looking great by the way.

I looked back at your landing gear and I agree with Roaring 40. They look very nice

I totally understand, just was struggling with it and wanted to finish this bird. Oh well .... I tried.

Jedi, to my knowledge, there are no pre fab gear for this kit. Roring40 is correct in that all of the gear seen on this site have been scratch built. I use aluminum tubing, DD used plastic straws and wood, many use dowels. They are pretty easy to duplicate whatever you use.

Jedi...Me thinks JohnG is building a P-40. Maybe he can point you to a set of legs???

I have started to make landing gear (it's been a year long process) I will continue to try and finish what I have. Thanks David, if I get stuck i may call upon your expertise. Thanks everyone for your comments. I have seen others use casted gear on here but I know that most make from scratch. Hope to post some pics of the gear here soon. Thank you.

On this plane, it's far easier and simpler to make them using tubes or dowels than casting them.
