Jack....Thanks I am very pleased with the grill and radiator. Looking for a spad painted similar to the Dumas kit. Like a flying American flag. If you know of a picture local please send it via e-mail...johnmoshust@att.net This way I can get you email address. |

Jack, comments are interpreted as html. The down side is that white space and newline characters are ignored, the up side is that if you know some basic html you can control the content of your comments far better than with simple text, including adding links like I just did. |

John, the Squadron book SPAD Fighters in Action has a nice profile and top wing in color for the Hat in the Ring SPAD. It should be available at most hobby shops or through Amazon. Apparently they were painted up after the war, when camo wasn't so critical. The weight of the paint adversely affected the plane's flying ability. |

Thanks...Jack Draw directed me to a site with colorful Spads from the "Hat in the Ring Squadron". I have picked one out and will probably spend two weeks trying to duplicate the paint. I hope the process will be theraputic. I need to find a lot of stars!!! |
