I flew several times from 1960 to 63 in one painted like this.

Is this the chosen color scheme for your plane? Great photograph!

This won. There are over 5000 photos of these on this site, www.airliners.net.

Nice photo.....even nicer fairings. Good luck.

The fairings are one piece plastic and actually fit. Very well! The 2 engine plastic pieces fit, top and bottom, really well (!!!) and the cowlings fit on the mounts. If built by the plans the 2 plastic nose pieces will NOT fit but build them as I did, attach them right at the git-go, and you'll be much more pleased with your build. By the way, flying on this machine was great! It was solid as a rock and smooth as silk. I flew on them again in 66 and 68 in Viet Nam and they were still the same, but with a bit more subdued color scheme.

Posted my comment as you were uploading images. Beautiful crisp detail lines all around. Off tomorrow, first time since early January so I'll be working on the B-24 and waiting for more progress photos from your end.

Actually, now that you have some time off, I'm really looking forward to seeing some photos of your first encounter with SGM Grade silkspan. I know what this looks like and the progress from here on will be small increments at a time and not nearly as interesting as what you're doing with that BUFF 24, ( BUFF is what the crews called them, Big Ugly Fat F...... ) Fellows.
