Fuel tank valves and tees for the fuel lines |

Never saw these types of fuel valves on a PT-17. Are they inside the cockpits? Beautiful job. Plastic? |

These are located under the upper wing on either side of the cockpit. I'll post a picture I used as a reference. |

Nice work. That T handle was a pain. "Plastruct" makes a small flat styrene strip in various sizes that works for the flat rigging. |

Thanks for that tip Don. Has anyone tried vinyl lacing for the flat rigging? I'm going to look at some at Michaels and see if it's a possibility. If ya'll don't hear from me soon you'll know my family did an intervention and put me in detail rehab. : ) |

Don C., I found the Plastruct flat styrene strips you mentioned. They will have to be painted since they are white but I think they will be perfect. Thank you. |

BiPlane guy: TRy Googling "Flat Wire" you will be surprised at the options out there. Bookbinding wire might work. |

I did sand them a bit and used a silver Sharpie to color them. Easier than a brush. |

rayl, I did Google "flat wire" as you suggested. I found a company that had just the thing but had discontinued the two smaller sizes that would have been about the right scale. Thanks for the tip. |

Don C., why did you sand them? Was it so the marker (great idea) would adhere better? |
