The tail wheel and bomb rack are made of Jeluton wood I got from frwyflyer and has been a godsend in making small detail parts. |

It does beat balsa for these small parts. Do you need more? I have your address |

Is that "Jeluton" or "Jelutong" wood? Where is it available?? Thanks, John G. |

The name is Jelutong. I get it from Austins in Santa Ana, CA |

Jelutong is the native tree of tropical asia. Grown in rain forests ranging from southern Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia. It is ideal for carving and pencil manufacturing. Thanks for the info, I haven't tried Jelutong on my scratch built models although we have plenty of them. |

I thought you might recognize Jelutong. It might be just a little heavy for flying models. Balsa is much lighter. |

frwyflyer - Thanks but I've still got plenty, in fact you sent enough that I was able to take half to London, where we are starting to spend most of our retirement. |
