harve | 27-Sep-07 06:19 | I tried a new technique - Japanese light tissue applied dry with a glue stick. The tissue is surprisingly strong, able to handle a lot of stretching and pulling. I was able to cover the stabilizer, which has an airfoil, with a single piece for the top. |
harve | 27-Sep-07 06:23 | I filed it under the wrong plane - it should be under the Guillow's Arrow. Sorry, James. |
hjlittman | 27-Sep-07 10:37 | You may have a problem here. Check the label on the glue stick. I may be wrong but I believe that the glue in the 'school stic' is water soluble. This is so that when the kids get the glue on their clothes mom can wash it out. A moist morning may cause the tissue to peel off. I use the Uhu glue stick with the purple glue in it for tissue and have had no problems with it in the last 4 years. |
