You've heard of "Celebrity Fit Club" - right? Well this is "Cessna Fit Club".

That looks awsome.....Man you are making me want to build one.

Thanks. I look at your Super Cub as the benchmark for a flying 300 series. I am leaving the the 4 wing ribs that will go at the wing root solid. The plan is to put a pair of 1/16 wooden dowels through the fuselage and into the wings, or maybe a piece of aluminum tubing, not sure yet. The wing rib that will accept the strut is solid as are the two most outboard ribs. The last 2 ribs are staying solid because it became apparent as I was cutting the larger ones that the smaller ribs would be nearly impossibe to skeletonize and keep in one piece. The tiny weight gain made by removing lumber would probably be overshadowed by the added glue to repair the piece.

I built this kit quite some time ago. A real pleasure. You've got a very clean build. Looks sharp.

I built this kit in September of 2006 and a photo of it is now used by Guillows to illustrate the plane in the parts section of their website.

David, Funny you should metion that - I used your build as a reference. I could not determine if the red trim stopped on the side or continued to wrap around the rear of the fuselage. I checked a rear / top view of your build to find out.

This is one of my favorite kits, and planes.
