| The wing tanks are not include in the kit although the F9F-5 always had them since they were built into the wings |

| Except for the wing tanks this kit was built out of the box. I do regret not doubling the stringers but I will do this on the next kit I build. |

| Thanks for the kind words everyone. The scale of this model in approximately 1/30 with a wing span of 12". All these models are around the same wing span but scale varies of course. I may not have been clear on these kits. They are still being produced by Ron. Not only does he still make and sell all the original Monogram Speedee Bilt kits, except the bombers of course, but he has added a number of his own design which are similar style. He sells them for $33.00 including postage. He also sells a number of replacement parts for anyone needing new decals or small parts for the original Monogram kits. Unfortunately he does not have a website . He does all his business through the mail but he will send you a current listing and prices if you request it. His email is andersonrw at verizon dot com.
