jerry campbell | 06-Feb-09 12:03 | To me one of the most satifying things about presenting a finished model are the accurate markings. I made a lot of mistakes, but even so I think this is so far one of the most enjoyable kits I've finished. The construction methods gave me fits at the beginning, but it worked out. |
Luke War | 06-Feb-09 15:51 | I think she's one heck of a sharp looking bird Jerry, you should be proud! I'd sure be running for cover if I saw it on my tail! |
moostang51 | 06-Feb-09 17:45 | You've gotta love an airbrush. Mind you, this is coming from someone who still does his camo with dabbing stenciling brushes to produce soft edges. Coloring look just great. |
jerry campbell | 06-Feb-09 19:17 | I do love an airbrush. I've been using it off and on for years and I will be the first to admit hat I've barely learned to use it. For painting WW 2 German aircraft it is essential. I want to do a P-51 Mustang, Urban Drew's "Detroit Miss", that I've got the decals for, but the silver scares me. |
