Luke War | 11-Dec-08 01:51 | If they had been made out of wood then I'd be almost done! |
Luke War | 11-Dec-08 01:59 | Once the tail work is finished after having to destroy the first attempt and start over I'm thinking she's gonna get the paint job of a Red Tail Angel. Slow going, but she's getting there I think! |
David Duckett | 11-Dec-08 04:32 | This is looking good! |
poppy | 11-Dec-08 04:58 | Very nicely done! |
Creosotewind | 11-Dec-08 18:50 | Looking very sharp. What did you use to make the landing gear? |
Luke War | 12-Dec-08 00:53 | Some plastic tubing on the top, heat shrink wrap for the lower half, carefully cut and wrapped masking tape and some judicial use of a silver paint pen. All pretty ordinary stuff compared to what some people on this website come up with to use! |
Luke War | 12-Dec-08 13:37 | Hey guys, quick question: I was talking to a guy at my local hobby shop the other day and he said that I should give SIG sanding sealer a few days to "gas out" before I paint it to avoid having bubbles form after the paint goes on. Do you gents know if there is any truth to this or have any of you ever experienced it before? |
