Does anyone know if any company or person makes some kind of vacu-formed radial engine mock up? I'm not really certain what I'm looking for, but there's got to be a better alternative to the paper cut out I have on that was included with the kit! |

I don't know of one, but I bet most of the chaps on here would suggest making your own. Have a look through John Oshust's archives, he's been known to do a few! |

Thanks for the lead, I'll check out his work! |

Great photo....I love flying engines with tiny wings! |

Check out John Ernst's planes in this site. His method of shadowing on the paper engines makes them really stand out and adds the illusion of depth and dimension. Also, Dare Hobby (darehobby.com) makes vacuum formed radial engines in various diameters. |

Thanks man! I've in fact eyed a few of his planes already. Haha after checking out what others are doing and what's possible I think I really want to try and make my own radial on my next exposed engine project. Definitely going to check out Dare Hobby though...maybe I can put a new engine on my tiny wings! |
