marlinus64 | 24-Jul-10 17:06 | The wood in this kit looks fantastic. Is the laser cut wood in a Dumas kit really that much better than a die cut Guillows? i have only sen or worked with Guillow's kits so i have no way to draw my own conclusions at this point. |
pakasit1812 | 25-Jul-10 02:54 | What is the wingspan and motor James? |
jgood | 25-Jul-10 14:41 | Yes, much better wood than a standard die-cut Guillows kit, marlinus. Pak, it has a 36" wingspan, and I was planning on using an IPS motor. Unfortunately, it's still sitting pretty much as you see here! BTW, the site may be very slow tonight, I'm doing a big backup, and using lots of bandwidth to move the backup off the server. Thanks for your patience in advance! |
pakasit1812 | 26-Jul-10 02:39 | James, we are grateful for your time and effort to keep this website enjoyable among all of us.
BTW, I am building a 37" span Antoinette 1907. This will
be the largest model my VW can cope with.
Thank you, James. |
