The wheel goes down but I am not happy with the result or the time it took to fit this wheel. |

You can purchase custom made retracts for many planes, usually the bigger ones, at a price. Because of the complex mechanism involved with these I would think you could get a set for say about $1500.00, maybe more. I like to see the landing gear on a plane and this looks just fine. Retracts really only catch the eye when they are on a flying model or when you're sitting comfortably in your big chair with a fire going in your cabin in the hills of Pennsylvania with a radio transmitter in your hands which will make them actually work. I vote to leave the gear extended!!! This hog, uhh barrell, needs some feet. |

You have a good point DD... I am running in to the same problem with my landing gear...it is perplexing for sure. I have just seen some of the things you all pull off on these models and I just trying to give some encouragement. |

DD...My thoughts exactly. This worked but does not look real enough. I have already started a permanent gear that will closely dupliate the original. This gear should be easy to detact so that if sesired, the plane can fly "Wheels Up!" |
