Ship building is pure joy, time consuming but very educational. It requires some major skill and study to create a fine model. It looks like you are doing it.
I had to periodically take a break from mine. The Norske Love. It took me about 10 years to finally say, " I`m done" |

That is quite the model of the Victory Dfell. I have thought I would love to build it at some point in my life.
It likely wont be for a long time though. It`s such a major commitment and extremely complex undertaking. I `m not surprised that the man spent so much of the time on the rigging. The rigging on my Norske Love was mind bending
to say the least.The ship you are building will be a treasured airloom and a model with substance. I admire your commitment to completing it. :) |

I have one that is 20 % finished that has been in the closet for ten years. The hull is planked double. Then it gets tough. |

Yes, you're right - Lukebozek1 - as everything gets smaller and harder to handle / see.
It would be a shame not to finish yours - I'm hoping I do not give up on mine.... |
