poppy | 23-Sep-11 14:09 | To the experts, my attemp at lozenze camo sucks. But it has to do for this bird. |
John M Oshust | 23-Sep-11 16:44 | Me thinks your effort is very noteworthy......works for me....quite a lot of work. I always wanted to attempt this....details of how you did it maybe yes??? |
poppy | 23-Sep-11 17:11 | A base coat of light Tan, then Lilac, Purple, Green, and Blue. First color is applied, spacing it out as you go, then on to the next color, and so on. Leave some space for the Tan to show. There are patterns available to print out on the net under "lozenze camouflage" but they are hard to follow, at least for me. So I just winged it. I need DD's artistic ability. |
John M Oshust | 23-Sep-11 18:08 | Did yee outline the pattern first? You painted after the wing was covered or before? |
poppy | 23-Sep-11 19:11 | Painted after wing was covered, light silkspan used. No pattern used other than visually trying to follow the pattern from the internet. |
John M Oshust | 23-Sep-11 20:09 | That, in itself, is a great achievement....Bravo! |
