| Heinrich Dorfmann | SIG Riser 100 Sailplane | Parked | 05-May-13 12:59 | | | Views : 1962 | | The plane took a rough tree landing, the right outer wing is gone, have to rebuild it. Tail is torn off but will be glued in place. All R/C equipment and electric equipment seems to be o.k. |
| Heinrich Dorfmann | SIG Riser 100 Sailplane | Parked | 05-May-13 12:57 | | | Views : 1775 | | Meanwhile, my electric glider found it's way back home. Very funny story. At 7 a.m. today in the morning, I went out to search a large field of canola (?) for my plane. Searching a model plane with translucent yellow wings in a yellow field is no fun. I found a plane - but it wasn't mine. I returned it to our little hut in the middle of the field. In the afternoon I got a phone call - the very owner of the plane I had found had gone out to search for himself - and had found my plane. |
