Just a brief aside. Elaine the “Wuffy” of 39.8 years gave me this the other day to commemorate the Jenny I constructed for Evelyn. I purchase an inexpensive frame, cut a mat, and “Bingo” a wall hanging!

When making parts from scratch I always make more than I require as I know that in the fabrication process there are always my "screw ups!"

“Lettuce” commence the Ogre build thread! The wheel disc is from the new short kit. Laminated wooden wheel parts are supplied. I used the wooden disc as a guide to the supply purchase at The Home Depot, my LHS. PVC pipe coupling at $.79 each. The neoprene and steel washers may make great axle hubs.

The plans say to block up the leading and trailing edges but do not say how much. I pinned the front spar in place and then set the outer, inner, and middle ribs in place. THe leading and trailing edges were then set in place using the ribs as guides. The leading edge is 1/4" x 1/2", spars and trailing edge are 1/8" stock, and the aileron spar is 3/16" stock.
