Much to my happiness, I finally figured out how to make the main gear functional. Its always a challenge to make it fit when retracting.

I made small boxes from foam board to protect all the "fragile" parts. These three assemnlies were then wrapped in plastic garbage bags before being packed.

A surprise from the past. With my 78th birthday passing last week, I received a package containing the old plans, of the model airplanes I had built as a kid. Thought they were long gone.
