One down, three to go. Actually I bought a resin casting kit. This will be my first attempt at casting. The nuts are from Verlinden. The center nut is an actual nut with a paper cover to overlay the bolt hole. Wait, is that a dirty term?

One wheel with its grooves. The background is a pattern I made to show the bolt spacing. It took several tries to cut one out that would work on the wheel. Combination of a compas and hand work with an X-Acto blade. The notch is where the valve stem would be.

I've been watching the BBC series "World At War" on the Military Channel. Except for the fact that MC cuts out about 10 minutes per episode to fit in commercials, it is still the best doc I've seen on WW2. I've seen the Bofors being used by the British, Germans, Russians and the US. This gun was everywhere.
