Then two coats of nitrate dope was applied and sanded smooth. The bottom was then wet covered and given two coats of dope and the bottom fin pieces were glued in place on either side of the wire. This first side section is 3 1/2" wide. |

The kit supplied tailwheel is a Guillows 1" standard item and too large so it will not be used. The roundel is from a Guillows Spitfire kit. |
