Feather the edges as close to tangent to surface as possible. This way you'll have only one texture to deal with (i.e. just filler) when finishing.You're going to want to coat the back (side facing model) with CA for reinforcment to help with retaining a sharp edge while feathering the edge. The finished fillet (well almost) fits satisfactory. There's nothing holding it there but gravity. |

Box stock Guillow's bf 109. I've this kit and a fw 190 for about 35 years but never built them, till now. My son Jimmy and I are building these two together ( Jimmy turns 9yrs old in March). I do, he watches, he does. |
