1911 winner in the model contest. Must have been a very long exposure. The lighter areas of the image are "Ghosts" of the attendees walking past. There's a couple that may have stood still for a moment if you look closely. Their position looks like they may have been caught through a reflection of some sort. Really nice model.

Just doing some cleaning out and getting the building area ready for Jimmy and I and found the Guillows catalogs from this me-109 and Jfinn's Fw-190 we built at the same time. The catalogs are dated 1974. That's when I originally purchased these two kits. If you look closely, there's a few not offered anymore. Too bad!

Jimmy flew for 30 min. The glider flies wonderfully. That's Malibu Canyon in the backround. Snake Hill, CA.

Well, I blasphemed. Went to my favorite LHS and this was hanging from the cieling (the glider!). Plans built by someone in either Idaho or Montana (tow different stories. Superb craftsmanship. Two servos already installed. My jaw dropped when I saw the price. $85. It's Jimmy's.

Cut bottom of rib profile first. Snug blank into jig. Line up indicated leading edge (blue arrow...which is the only constant point on all these ribs) and trailing edge through rear corner.

James, here's what I used to cut the ribs...this time. Fairly rudimentary. Two "Sweeps" or "French Curves" and a simple jig to hold the blank. Blue tape is for photo. It'll change color magically throughout this "How to"!
