The RC club president showed up with his gas plane and gave quite a show. After he was done I tried to fly again but the breeze was too strong and I couldn't fly upwind, even at full throttle. |

I got about 5 minutes of flying on the 300 mAh pack. If I power the radio directly from the battery rather than the ESC I should be able to run a bit longer before the low voltage cutout kicks in. |

Lowering the ESC low voltage cutout to 3.5 volts worked. I also learned that the radio will cut out the motor if battery voltage drops to 3.8 volts. |

The One Nite 28 motor RPM was too low for flight. The ESC low voltage would kick in if I opened the throttle too wide. It looks like I'll just have to lower the low voltage protect, time my flights, and kill the motor before the radio dies. |

The Corsair kept doing a nose dive, I think the nose is too heavy and I will have to shift the battery aft. |

The Bird Dog flew like a drunk hummingbird due to the wind. I'll have to try again on a calm day. |
