Dfell | Sterling Albatross DII-A | Build | 17-May-14 07:40 | | Views : 727 | Canopy. Made from 3/32 balsa wood, lined underneath with paper so when curved the wood splitting would still remain intact. Then filled, sanded and hardened. Also the paper protects the cockpit until as such time the paper can be cut open. Anyway that the plan :) |

Dfell | Sterling Albatross DII-A | Build | 07-May-14 10:57 | | Views : 569 | Spirit level added - or whatever it is called to keep the pilot level headed...Also some wiring from gun triggers and accelerator. Is there anything else I should put in - don't say pilot. (don't think I can make one ) |
Dfell | Sterling Albatross DII-A | Build | 07-May-14 10:51 | | Views : 562 | One air pump and another dial. Still not keen on doing cockpits - this has certainly tried my patience and my skill |
Dfell | Sterling Albatross DII-A | Build | 27-Apr-14 09:26 | | Views : 604 | Trial fit. The 'wooden ' handle of the magneto starter is a blob of super glue. Some dials and a Quadrant lever. There is a something or other cut off switch - guess it must be under the seat :) |

Dfell | Sterling Albatross DII-A | Build | 04-Apr-14 10:38 | | Views : 628 | All boarded up. Not perfect as will be covering again with a thin wood veneer. Anyway that's my excuse. Also hoping the veneer will work especially over some awkward curves. |
Dfell | Sterling Albatross DII-A | Build | 04-Apr-14 10:36 | | Views : 510 | One seat. Hopefully to scale - as I had no size information based the width on the chair I happened to be sitting on. Approx 18 in wide.... :) |
